Accessories To Splurge On

Although it's easy to overlook the importance of accessories, a few great pieces can really change your entire wardrobe. And while it may seem decadent to spend a lot on something as small as a clutch or a new pair of earrings, combining these pieces with basic pieces of your wardrobe can carry over last season's staples and give them a fresh new look.

One accessory that doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon are big sunglasses. If you haven't already given in to this oversized trend, then now's the time to treat yourself to any style by Tom Ford. Our favorite? The Whitney, which comes in black or brown smokey plastic. You can find them in the East Bay at Alina B in Danville.

If you're craving that pop of bright color that is a must have this spring and summer, try any of the beautiful clutches by Kate Spade, like the Orchard Street Jocelyn clutch in amazing green leather. Pair it with the basic blazer you bought last season to carry your winter look into spring. If you feel like avoiding a trip to the city, you can find Kate Spade products at Ellington & French in Berkeley.

And if you're looking for that perfect pair of shoes to celebrate the lovely spring weather head over to Rabat in the 4th St shopping area in Berkeley. Chose from a delightful selection of shoes and handbags, such as these tan and yellow leather gladiator sandles by Claudia Ciuti.
