Soothe Summer Skin!

Now that you have your cute summer sandals and sassy sunglasses you're ready to head out into the sun! Just make sure you don't forget the sunscreen!

But if you do forget to slather some on before heading out to the beach, Fashion Forward has a few recommendations for great places to go to soothe your summer skin.

In case you weren't inspired to check out Herringbone Apothecary's awesome makeup selection and cosmetic lessons during our Makeover Week, we'll remind you that they also have wonderful facials given by their resident esthetician Cody. After your facial Cody can also recommend some great products, like the skincare line from Trilogy.

Or, if you know that maybe you aren't the best at taking care of your skin, plan ahead this summer and book an appointment with Francesca Cavanaugh at Alchemy Skin Spa in Kensington. But be forewarned, you will have to book ahead - it can take a while to get an appointment. But sometimes it's just worth it to wait for quality.

Francesca solely runs Alchemy and works one on one with each client. You'll walk out with beautiful skin and feeling serene and refreshed. Alchemy is also a Certified Green Business and uses organic skincare products (such as Dr. Alkatis Organic Skin Food), many which are locally made and woman owned. So even though you're treating yourself, you can feel good knowing you're also supporting small organic bussiness owners.
