New Program Supporting Local Artists Launched at Drift!

The Scenario: Oakland/Berkeley/SF is jam packed with hot emerging jewelry/handbag/clothing designers and, of course, with the high cost of rents in the beautiful Bay Area, it's hard to have a studio space to create and promote your goods, but it's still a neccesity.

The Solution: Everyone who works at/with Drift is an artist in some capacity and knows this money-time-space dilema very well. So, when brainstorming how to work directly with local designers and promote emerging designers in the Bay Area, we thought it would be awesome to bring the designer in-house by offering rock bottom rent for the prime loft space at Drift, turning it into a studio and renting it to local designers in need of local, affordable space in the growing neighborhood of Old Oakland. We also thought it would be killer to showcase the in-house designers work as it flourishes at Drift.
The Details:
For $275 Drift Denim- in Old Oakland has an upstairs loft for lease!
This space is aprox. 150-175 square feet, and is the size of a small bedroom.
Beautiful views looking on to the Old Oakland street scape!
